Are there any websites where i can get free samples or cheap samples of makeup???

I love to try out makeup, but hate spending $10+ on something thats not my shade, or that i dont like, etc...


i heard la minerals gives out samples for a $1-2..but are there any other sites? i dont live by an ulta, sephora, or mac so my makeup is limited because i dont want to order a $20 something from maccosmetics.com only to have it be the wrong shade or not to my liking etc...

Have you checked out http://www.sampleaday.com ? They have a ton of free samples without any stupid surveys to fill out or pay offers to complete. You can also signup for their newsletter to get the samples sent to your inbox but it is not required.

if you go to sephora, they give you free makeovers. usually they expect you buy stuff, but heres how i get out of it:

';so, are you ready to ring up now?';





you say:


';Um, actually let me look around a bit more, thanks';





They say:


';Ok, lemme know if theres anything else i can help yuo wtih!';





you ';look a round';, put your basket w/ ur makeup in it on the floor, (not where anyone can trip on it, though!) and run of the store!


i do it all the time. hey, you get a free makeover and you dont have to buy anything!
Go to your nearest mall. They all give samples or they at least give you free makeovers. To get a free sample/makeover, say, I really like this but I am allergic to a lot of makeup. Get samples or a makeover and then say, it seems fine, but, to be sure Im not allergic, let me walk around a bit more. Then, just dont come back.
Of course the samples change from time to time but usually there is a health and beauty sample on the site.
